On April 21, DMI MON Operations Assistant Jessie Fincham and DMI MON DII Production Supervisor Charlie Blaniar attended the Fayette County Career and Technical Institute’s (FCCTI) Career Fair to talk with over 500 high school students and adult learners about the wide variety of careers available at DMI Companies.

“It’s an honor to participate in events like these because the setting allows you to get to know the students’ skills and goals and allows DMI to showcase what we have to offer beyond just employment,” said Fincham. “We can share the rich history behind where we come from, the cutting-edge technology being used in advanced manufacturing and the many opportunities for career advancement and learning we have to offer. The students we meet today are the workforce of tomorrow, so hopefully, they will remember meeting us and decide they want to become a part of the DMI family.”

Charlie could relate first-hand to the students because he is a former FCCTI student. Attendees were very interested in hearing about his path from the machinist program to management at DMI. He was also able to reconnect with some former classmates who are now instructors.

DMI extends a special thanks to FCCTI for hosting this fantastic event!
