On February 3, 2025, four Team Pennsylvania staff members visited DMI’s Monongahela facility to see our manufacturing processes and automation in action as a follow-up to discussions outlined in Pennsylvania’s Manufacturing Competitiveness Playbook.

TeamPA is a statewide nonprofit organization that works to accelerate the commonwealth’s long-term economic future by arranging cross-sector collaboratives on the most transformative economic opportunities, including agriculture, energy, and manufacturing.

During their visit, TeamPA was treated to a tour of the facility.  After the tour, the team gathered among key DMI executives and management to have a thoughtful discussion about the future of manufacturing in PA, Industry 4.0, workforce development, and the implementation of advanced technologies like automation, IoT, AI, and more. 

DMI’s commitment to waste reduction, energy efficiency, workforce development, and technology integration, combined with strategic partnerships like this, will continue to position us as a Factory of the Future.
