Shirish Pareek is the Managing Director of AMG Partners, an investment and advisory firm he founded with a specific focus on advanced industrial and manufacturing technologies.

He serves as Executive Chairman of Jewett Automation, a leading provider of custom automation solutions and filtration equipment, specializing in highly engineered automated systems for complex industrial applications. He also serves as an industry partner for McNally Capital and a senior advisor for McKinsey and Company. He was recently Chairman and CEO of Adaptec Solutions. Adaptec Solutions is a $100 million business providing advanced automation and material handling solutions to customers in food and beverage, distribution, logistics, and industrial sectors.

Previously, Shirish was the CEO and Founder of Hydraulex Global, which he grew into the largest hydraulics remanufacturing business in America. Under Shirish’s stewardship, Hydraulex Global achieved $90 million in revenue, exported to 50 countries, employed over 350 staff, and managed five manufacturing plants. He was also formerly a business strategy consultant with McKinsey and Company. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Oil Field Engineer at Halliburton.

He served two terms on President Obama’s Manufacturing Council, and in his second term was Co-Chair of the Skills and Workforce Commission. He is currently Vice Chairman of the Board of MxD USA, a public/private partnership funded by the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy, as well as over 300 private sector firms. MxD is responsible for developing both technology and policy related to digital manufacturing and serves as the National Center of Cybersecurity in Manufacturing.

Shirish has been a member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) for the last 12 years and recently served as Chapter Chairman of the Washington, D.C., Baltimore Chapter of YPO. He is also currently Chairman of the Global Diplomacy Network.

Shirish earned a B.S. with University Honors in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Operations and Strategy from Carnegie Mellon University.
