biography

Daniel A. Bruno has served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for DMI Companies since joining the company in 2006. As part of his role, he oversees company-wide Finance and Human Resources functions.

With a career spanning nearly 40 years, Dan has demonstrated exceptional leadership in building and directing Finance, IT, Customer Service, and HR teams across diverse organizations. His journey began in public accounting, followed by rapid advancement at Westinghouse Electric and A. Stucki Company in Western Pennsylvania, where he tackled increasingly complex responsibilities. Prior to joining DMI, he served as CFO at Aluminum Ladder Co./Carbis, Inc. in Florence, South Carolina.

Dan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Penn State University and a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, with a minor in Information Systems from the University of Pittsburgh. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

For many years, Dan has expertly led DMI’s audits, bringing consistent leadership and a wealth of knowledge that has significantly driven the organization’s exceptional and unparalleled track record in the manufacturing sector.

Under Dan’s guidance, DMI’s Finance and HR Departments have been characterized by their commitment to professionalism, meticulous accuracy, and ethical practices.

Throughout his time with DMI, Dan has served on the Pittsburgh Business Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland from 2012 to 2020, and the Western Pennsylvania Budget and Finance Committee of SMACNA from 2014 to 2017.
