In what has become one of DMI’s most cherished holiday traditions, 2024 marks the 21st year DMI has donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and has donated over $84,000 since 2004. 

This year, DMI Companies donated $5,000 to the Make-a-Wish Foundation to grant a wish to a local child in need.

On December 9, 2024, DMI’s internal fundraising committee members joined President and CEO Ray Yeager to present the donation to Make-A-Wish representatives at our corporate headquarters in Charleroi, Pennsylvania.

DMI’s donated funds granted a wish for a local seven-year-old boy from Charleroi who has been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis.  His wish was to take a trip to Disney World with his family. 

For over 40 years, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has been granting life-changing wishes for children and families. For children diagnosed with critical illnesses, a wish come true can be a crucial turning point in their lives. A wish can be the spark that helps children believe anything is possible and gives them the strength to fight harder against their illnesses.  Through donations like ours, a wish is granted in the US and its territories every 33 minutes.
